DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will lead, support, and develop a technical team dedicated to Cold Roll Mill Process Technology activities to effectively support AM/NS Calvert's business objectives. The Manager will lead major improvement projects - utilizing systematic methodology - to improve product capabilities, output, cost, yield, energy, and environment performance and logistical ease.
The Basics
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Operations Management field
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a progressive leadership role
* Background in all major steel mill processes and products, with particular in-depth knowledge of Rolling process and technology, with solid understanding from quality point of view
* Basic understanding of heat, mass transfer, and material plasticity
* Demonstrated knowledge of steel rolling properties
* Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various groups
* Proficiency in MS Office products
