Coach safety, quality, and productivity teams to ensure objectives are met through the development of and adherence to standardized work. Through process confirmation and building worker accountability, ensure that the production line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...
  • Teach, confirm, and ensure adherence to all Plant Operating Systems.
  • Responsible for the training and implementation of production work teams.
  • Manage yard campaigns and reduce plant inventory levels.
  • Drive the Manage the Change (MTC) process. Ensure compliance to process and communicate changes to Team Members.
  • Develop relationships with other areas to achieve business results and resolve issues at the floor level having one goal in mind - Be the best manufacturing facility in the World.
  • Ensure training gaps are identified and plans implemented to achieve versatility requirements.
  • Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives. Six Sigma problem solving skills to support continuous improvement mentality.
  • Drive and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PMs) processes.
  • Ensure all safety standards are met during all production activities.
  • Assist in addressing equipment down time issues.
  • Support and coach problem solving activities within the department, focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Team on production line releases, and repair activities.
  • Work flexible hours that may include nights, weekends, and overtime.
QualificationsYou'll have...
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have leadership skills to lead, empower, and develop Salary and Hourly employees Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Must be able to summarize complex issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Production, Maintenance and/or Quality experience.

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Six sigma/LEAN experience
