POSITION SUMMARYThe Crew Person is responsible and accountable for performing specific tasks and duties, as assigned, within the restaurant.This role provides each guest with a positive experience, prepares quality food products according to standards, and keeps restaurant clean, pleasant and safe for all guests and employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMay perform any or all of the following duties:•Follows all Company Guestservice guidelines and procedures; takes the appropriate action to ensure all Guests receive SUPERSTAR Service •Works assigned station(s) accurately and productively; cleans and stocks the station area(s); performs other cleaning duties as assigned•Ensures that all Guests receive hot, quality products; prepares, packages and delivers all products according to Menu Standards•Handles all food products according to company procedures; follows all company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of Guests and employees•Follows all company cash control guidelines to maintain and minimize restaurant costs; properly uses all products, supplies, equipment and facilities.•Demonstrates oral communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external) •Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES•Enrollment in high school; high school diploma or equivalent is preferable•Must be a minimum of 16 years of age•Must have reliable transportation to work•Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, possibly including opening and closing shifts.WORK ENVIRONMENT•Fast paced environment working with kitchen equipment in tight quartersPHYSICAL DEMANDS•Stand for long periods of time•Bend and stoop•Work around heat•Able to lift 50 - 75 lbs. comfortably•Work with various cleaning productsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
