As our Borders Community Support team continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Team Member** to join our team in Kelso for up to 30 hours per week.

**The Role**

Our Community Support team in the Scottish Borders supports individuals in their own homes and local community in the Kelso and Coldstream area. The people we support have learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and other mental health support needs. As a **Team Member**, youll provide support with all aspects of daily living and help them maintain their independence at home. This will include providing some minimal support with personal care.

Over half of the people we support are under 25 years old and they enjoy an active lifestyle and love getting out and about. Their hobbies include going to the cinema, swimming, live music, arts and crafts and gaming! Well need you to be enthusiastic about participating in the things they enjoy and proactive in supporting them to pursue their interests.

As a **Team Member** within one of our self-organised teams, you will also have additional responsibilities using the latest care planning technology, including maintaining personal plans, financial auditing, risk assessments and health and safety. This is a great opportunity for both personal and professional learning and development for someone looking to further their career in the sector!

**About You**

We are looking for people with a real passion to build relationships and positively impact the lives of the people we support. So, whilst it would be beneficial if you have experience in a similar role, this is not essential. Whats most important to us is that you can demonstrate the right values and attitude to make a difference. Youll receive all the training and support you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ qualification.

??????? As travel will be required throughout the Kelso and Coldstream areas, it is **preferable** that you hold **a full UK driving licence** and have access to your own vehicle. However, this is not essential to be considered.

**Shift Patterns**

Our team provides support between the hours of 8.00 am to 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday. If you are successful in joining our team, you should expect to work early split shifts, mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as part of your rota.
