Job Description:
The Retail Team Member's main responsibilities include:Acknowledging, greeting, and helping customers in any area of the storeAssisting customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions or directing them to a supervisorUsing a cash register to total sales, accept payments for merchandise, and give correct changeAccepting and preparing donations for the sales floor, which include hanging items, stocking store shelves, and hanging clothesMaintaining a clean , safe, and Customer-Friendly environment in the store, which includes general housekeeping duties and straightening merchandiseQualificationsOne year retail experience is preferred.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paces environment.Prolonged standing and walking with frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.Frequent lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds is required.Friendly, outgoing, and dependable.Part-time position up to 28 hours per weekThe successful candidate must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania child abuse history, Pennsylvania criminal history and Department of human services- FBI.
