Job Purpose:Team Members are responsible for meeting the store's daily goals by processing donated goods and running the cash register.The Team Member must also assist customers and follow all company standards, policies, and procedures. Qualifications:Education: No formal education is required Experience: No experience is necessary.Skills, Abilities, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting, thanking, and building rapport with internal and external customers and donors
- Assisting customers
- Giving receipts, processing returns, providing accurate information, and maintaining inventory levels
- Maintaining a clean and safe interior and exterior environment
- Maintaining accurate cash register procedures
- Accepting, recording, sorting, and processing donations.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of donated goods as needed.
- Sanitize items as required by State Law.
- Preparing bins for shipment.
- Operating a pallet jack, if applicable.
- Utilizing the UKG systems by clocking in and out and submitting timesheets on time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including evenings, weekends, holidays and occasionally long hours (more than 8 hours)
- Must be dependable in attendance and punctuality
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally, (material handling equipment can be used to minimize effort expended, when practical)
- Ability to perform prolonged walking and standing
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and stretching
- Vision and hearing corrected to within normal limits
