Become a maker of possible with us.Quality technician is responsible for the inspection and testing of manufacturing processes and products to ensure the product quality. The process quality technician will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented in order to maintain product quality and records traceability.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineering and Manufacturing for containment of non-conforming product.Monitor production processing via random QA auditsConduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniquesConduct statistical analysis on select processes and report findingsAssist with problem solving – root cause analysis – corrective actionsMaintain accurate documentation of quality inspection resultsEnsure incoming materials are in compliance to required specificationsEnsure outgoing products are in compliance with required specificationsEnsure production personnel are following proper procedure for ongoing production checksAssist with training and instruction for production operators in QA measuring proceduresDevelopment and maintenance of quality procedures and work instructionsAudit and maintenance of compliance to required quality management system standardsProvide management with detailed quality reports as required – daily, weekly, monthly, etc.Other duties as required by quality managementSkills and Qualifications:Ability to work with little supervisionExperience enforcing SOP and product specificationsKnowledge in ExcelStrong mathematics skillsEducation and Experience:Technical degree, Preferred1+ year of Quality Assurance experience, PreferredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
