Find out more at www.TransdevNA.com or watch an overview video at II* Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by performing limited repairs withminimal supervision on both basic and complex maintenance such as replacement of lightbulbs, fuses, lenses, wiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries, check fluid levels, change fluidsand filters and lubricate components.* Perform mechanical repairs under minimal supervision including the repair of brakes andbrake inspections, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches andother repairs.* Maintain records of all maintenance work completed on vehicles including parts and suppliesused. Ensure that work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain parts usagerecords and order repair parts from designated suppliers.* Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under minimalsupervision. May perform diagnostic tests utilizing a computer and manufacturer's software todetermine mechanical defects.* Lead preventative maintenance (PM's), safety maintenance inspections and annualmaintenance inspections at prescribed intervals of time and usage* Remove, overhaul and reinstallation of mechanical components with minimal Tech in Chargesupervision* Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken* Evaluates completed work prior to release and seeks approval where required* Leads road calls and emergency services as necessary* Adhere to all Safety standards, policies and procedures* Moves vehicles safely between job and work area* Repair and maintain all shop equipment* Other responsibilities as requested or requiredThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
