Job Mode: Remote Job Summary: Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire Policy Center solutions for commercial lines, with a particular focus on cloud-based implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle for cloud-based solutions, including planning, requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment in a Guidewire Cloud environment.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure, security, and scalability best practices in the context of Guidewire Policy Center deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center development, specifically with a focus on commercial lines of business and cloud implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire Cloud and its capabilities, including configuration, integration, and deployment strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cloud-based software development projects, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Java, GOSU, Web Services, SQL, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and cloud-native development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire Cloud certification(s).
- Advanced knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), with specific experience in deploying and managing Guidewire applications in these environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools tailored to cloud deployments.
