Tech Lead- Software Engineer 4-Month Contract (potential to extend) $75 to $95/hour Fully Remote Overview: Our client is an industry leader in creating scalable credit card scoring models that are capable of processing millions of transactions each year with top-notch security. They're seeking a hands-on Technical professional to lead our software engineering team. In this role, you'll combine leadership with active coding, especially in Python, and play a key role in developing and managing secure APIs.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality code and project delivery.
- Develop and maintain scalable and secure APIs.
- Translate data science models into efficient, production-ready code.
- Oversee software architecture and infrastructure integration.
- Participate in code reviews, unit tests, and daily standups.
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to ensure robust infrastructure.
Skills:
- Proven technical leadership with a hands-on approach.
- Strong expertise in Python; experience in Java or C++ is a plus.
- Extensive experience in creating and securing APIs.
- Proficiency in AWS (GCP is acceptable).
- Knowledge of Docker and Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
