What IT Program & Project Management contributes to Cardinal HealthTransformation enables the organization to drive complex and transformational programs through disciplined project/program management and change management strategies.IT Program & Project Management applies Information Technology knowledge and experience to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for complex projects within the Information Technology function. This family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. This job family manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. IT Program & Project Management also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans.Position SummaryTechnical Account Management (TAM) is responsible for playing a key/critical role in realizing business value through the application of project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives. The TAM will also use their rich healthcare domain expertise, along with project management and proactive consulting skills, to solve complex technical challenges for some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country. To our clients, this individual will be an expert in combining our technology platform and solutions with their programs to provide maximum benefit to their business and patients.Responsibilities:Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry, including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation; demonstrates working knowledge of how Cardinal Health technical offerings match with a customers' unique business needsDemonstrates knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes.Monitors performance and recommends scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustmentsConnects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case.Prioritizes multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesCommunicates project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion.Effectively balances competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.Connects project objectives to broader organizational goals.Provides input to contracts, reviews contracts to ensure completeness of scope and appropriate accountability based on role and/or responsibility.Negotiates with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution.Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize models into day-to-day business decision making.High level of client contact in an Account Management portfolio approach.Analyze and recommend technical solutions related to new product launches, product discontinuations, vendor integrations, and operational efficiencies among other potential servicesActs as single technical liaison for the clientDaily interactions with client to assess and advise client needs and requestsAnalyze client program, needs and propose solutions and options that provide value to clientRecommend technical changes/updates/enhancements to current platform and vendor integration landscape to further align with client's strategy and industry advancements.Manage client deliverables, timelines, and artifactsMonitor team backlog and prioritize activities to deliver on time, on budget, on scopeAnticipate client needs and proactively make program recommendations to enhance service valuePerform necessary project administration, project status, and risk, issue managementWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projectsParticipates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goalsRecommends new practices, processes, metrics, or modelsWorks on or may lead complex projects of large scopeProjects may have significant and long-term impactProvides solutions which may set precedentIndependently determines method for completion of new projectsReceives guidance on overall project objectivesActs as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesIdentifies and qualifies opportunities within service portfolio (including but not limited to technology, program design, services expansion, etc.…) with existing client and develops plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationshipsQualificationsBachelors Degree required, Master's Degree preferred3-5 years experience of client relationship management experience at the account management level.Prior experience working in a Specialty Pharmaceutical HUB environment, preferred8+ years' experience in professional services, healthcare, or related field preferred serving in a technical capacityProficiency in Microsoft Office products preferredStrong oral and written communication skills, with executive facing presentation experienceStrong project management skillsProven ability to learn and application of advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projectsAnticipated hourly range: $103,500 - $147,850Bonus eligible: YesBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 01/14/2025 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
