Acara Solutions is seeking a Technical Account Manager for our client, a leading process technologies company. The ideal candidate will have a technical sales background, with experience in engineering, the semiconductor industry, or vacuum technologies highly preferred.
Location: Saugerties, NY Salary: Up to $110k/year DOE Flexible Hybrid Work Schedule | 50-75% Travel
The Technical Account Manager will be instrumental in driving business growth by managing relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for sustainable short, mid, and long-term growth.
- Collaborate on regional after-sales service and support plans.
- Coordinate new product solutions based on customer needs and market trends.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies with leadership.
- Oversee order and delivery processes in collaboration with internal teams.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain clear communication with planners.
- Negotiate pricing and agreements within company guidelines.
- Monitor and report on customer status, market positioning, and financial performance.
- Build and maintain professional relationships across all customer levels.
- Analyze and share market trends and competitive insights with management.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions and track sales opportunities.
- Work closely with Finance to manage receivables and overdue accounts.
- Support product launches, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional collaborations.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical fields
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in an industrial or technical environment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in engineering, the semiconductor industry, or vacuum technologies highly preferred.
