If your answer is yes to the questions listed above, MSXi might have the right opportunity for you! We are expanding one of our signature programs and are looking for a Team Lead to lead/supervise the team of automotive technical experts who can troubleshoot technical issues, advise dealers, contribute to fix-it-right first time and liaise with multiple OEM departments. Your day to day will include local travel to designated dealerships, training the Technical Advisors/Technicians, assigning work to the team, supervising their daily activities, reporting their KPIs, and problem solving.

The Lead Technical Advisor key tasks are:

  • Lead, supervise and train Technical Advisors.
  • Be knowledgeable in all duties of skilled automotive technician.
  • Lead discussions, meetings and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Ensure focus on reduction of buybacks through a timely and correct repair.
  • Providing dealership consultations on repair order documentation, repair service agreements, and facility inspections.
  • Ensuring the improvement of the customer experience and increasing “fixed first visit” cases.
  • Report team's KPIs.

  • Full-time position with benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years automotive experience required; current ASE certification is preferred but previously certified individuals will be considered.
  • Required to have previous Stellantis experience and OEM training.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Experience in training, coaching and mentoring a team.
  • Highly motivated, critical thinker, adaptive, and autonomous with the ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally to dealerships.
  • Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using Microsoft Excel tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and create custom reports using provided templates.
  • Ability to effectively use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90k to $110k based on current experience.
