Location New York, New York Shift: Day Flex (United States of America) Description: IT Technical Architect - Network Operations Center (NOC) The IT Technical Architect performs multiple complex technology activities that support major information systems throughout the NewYork Presbyterian Enterprise. Provides technical expertise for Information Services initiatives throughout NYP. This role will support the implementation and continual development of the NOC. Monitoring systems and infrastructure using our IT Infrastructure Monitoring tool. Activities include but are not limited to: -Administration of an Enterprise Monitoring tool (includes maintenance, updates of the tool) - Ability to triage, diagnose and resolve complex issues -Strong focus on customer service - Experience in defining processes, procedures, and documenting these in an ITSM tool or Operational Handbook. This is a Hybrid position that will require travel to Clifton, NJ and Piscataway, NJ and Data Center Midtown Corporate Center. May require occasional on-site presence; therefore, should live within a commutable distance. No relocation assistance available. Preferred Criteria
  • Experience with LogicMonitor, Nagios, Dynatrace or similar IT Infrastructure Monitoring Tool
  • LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA) Certification
  • LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP) Certification
  • Programming Languages: Microsoft .NET Development; SQL; Scripting in PowerShell, VBScripts, other scripting languages; C#; Java; C++,HTML, Python
  • Advanced working knowledge of large-scale IT Infrastructure monitoring and application performance monitoring
  • Working knowledge of Service Now (Including Service Graph Connectors, CMDB and automated Incident creation)
  • Experience in Enterprise Network technologies including Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto and F5.
  • Experience in SNMP Monitoring
  • Experience in Observability Telemetry
Required Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related discipline or 6+ years of related work experience
  • 6 or more years of related work experience
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
