Job Type Full-time Description The Technical Architect will develop, implement, and support network services and solutions for consulting clients while mentoring and sharing skills with others. This position will build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution. Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
- Play an active role by collaborating with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
- Execute, with Project Managers and Practice Leads, on large projects on time and on budget.
- Provide active leadership and articulate to the Project Management Team what is needed for success and lead the other Engineers to ensure tasks are being completed accurately and timely.
- Be the Lead Engineer on projects that have multiple different technologies.
- In collaboration with the Project Management Team Members, if applicable, provide daily updates on all projects and be proactive with communication to all parties on timelines, hours, resources, concerns, etc.
- Proactively execute collaboration between different business units to provide a world class experience for the customer.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and take a leadership role in Team and customer meetings.
- Contribute to product selection and research, configuration standards and best practices and educate our sales teams on these products and services so that they can sell them.
- Work in a team atmosphere between regional and virtual practices, while at all times maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
- Maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications and stay current on new products and solutions.
- Continue to grow personally along the guidelines of the Engineering skills matrix, improving your skill set around project experience, leadership, certifications and technical expertise.
- Minimum of 1,450 hours billed per fiscal year prorated based on start date. These charge hour requirements will be balanced against professional development and on the job training.

Required Experience:
- 5+ years in a technical related field
Preferred Experience:
- 6-8 years in a technical related field
- 4+ years' experience working as a Consultant
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certifications
- At least two or more Professional level certifications
- CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA
- Experience designing and architecting network based solutions
- Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products
- IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices
- Routing Protocols-OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS
Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
- CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, ACMP, ACCP, ACCX, ACEAP, MCE or equivalent level certifications
- Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products
- IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices
- Cisco Nexus technologies such as VDC, vPC, VXLAN, etc.
- Routing Protocols-OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS
- Cisco based ISR-based VPN solutions such as FLEX-VPN, GET-VPN, or DMVPN.
- Data Center / Core design, configuration, and implementation utilizing Cisco Nexus Architecture (9K, 7K, 6K, 5K, 3K, 2K, 1000V).
- Software Defined Networking (SDA, SD-WAN)
- Cisco/Meraki/Aruba Wireless
- Controller or autonomous based
- Design using Ekahau or similar product
- High Density/Manufacturing/Office/Education
- Familiarity or experience with:
- Meraki (Wireless, Security Products, Switches, SDWAN)
- Citrix NetScaler ADC/SDWAN deployment a plus
- Network security appliances Including Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto firewalls and related technology
- Additional core technologies such as: Riverbed, OpenDNS, Infoblox, Cisco Optical, NetBrain, FireEye, SolarWinds, SPLUNK?
