Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is currently accepting applications for a part-time, 10-month Technical Assistant IIA in the Nursing Department Skills Laboratory.
In addition to day time hours, this 24 (twenty-four) hours per week position will require flexibility in hours to accommodate evening classes 2-3 (two to three) times per week and 3-4 (three to four) weekend days each semester. The part-time Technical Assistant IIA works under the direct supervision of the Department Chair of Nursing and is not responsible for primary instructional assignments.

An Associate's degree in a related field is required for this position.
This position requires a working knowledge of health care procedures and equipment. Knowledge of simulation equipment and mannikins highly desired.The Technical Assistant IIA works closely with the Department Chair, Faculty, the Clinical Nursing Skills Instructional Specialist, and students in the skills laboratory setting.

Additional Information:
The hourly rate for this position is $27.46.
