WWMT/ARC West Michigan is seeking a director for our newscasts. You should have experience directing fast-paced newscasts with graphics, video animations, and live shots. This person should also have knowledge of production standards and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform any production duties as assigned including:
* Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions
* Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* Maintain production studio and control room
Requirements:
* Experience Directing and TDing newscasts
* Knowledge of production standards and equipment
* Ability to clearly communicate with crew, talent and producer during live broadcast
* College degree in a related field preferred
* Knowledge of iNews, Xpression and Ross switchers a plus
* Possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and have a good visual sense
* Flexibility with schedule also preferred
