BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Technical Lead, Full Stack Developer to work for a biotechnology company in the Orange County region.

Pay: $110,000 - $160,000/year

Summary

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead to oversee front-end and back-end web development teams. Responsibilities include managing a team of approximately 15 professionals, driving the development of e-commerce websites, and ensuring the seamless integration of complex functionalities, including secure financial transactions and large-scale product management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary web development team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee all aspects of front-end and back-end development for our e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure websites are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and user experience design.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver web development projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product management.
  • Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives.
  • Manage websites featuring thousands of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units).
  • Oversee the integration of secure financial transaction systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant e-commerce regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale e-commerce websites.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular).
  • Extensive experience with back-end development (Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar languages).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud services and deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
