As part of our continuous expansion in the market, we are looking to hire a Technical Manager NI Operations Division. Join us as we continue to grow and make a global impact.

Day Elevator & Lift, founded in 1992, offers a diverse range of lift products in New York and New Jersey. Through a partnership with KLEEMANN Elevators, a global manufacturer, the company extends its services to provide elevators for residential and commercial needs.

Scope of the role

As a Technical Manager of Accessibility and residential, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of elevator and lift operations, installation, maintenance, and repair. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovation, quality, and reliability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Technical qualifications in Elevator Installation with exposure to Wheelchair Lifts and Private Home Elevators.
  • C.A.T. Certification preferred.
  • Must have been in a supervisory role or lead mechanic role for 5 years and trained apprentices/helpers.
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license and reliable means of transport to get to job sites.
  • 7+ years of experience in the lift industry, including hands-on experience with lift installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervising and leading a team of technicians and service personnel.
  • Project Oversight: Managing and overseeing lift installation projects from planning through to completion.
  • Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that all installations, maintenance, and repairs meet or exceed industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Conducting training programs for technicians to enhance their technical skills, safety awareness, and customer service capabilities.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocating resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
