DESCRIPTION

In-Seat Immersive LLC is seeking a Production Stage Manager to join the non-union North American bus & truck tour of Insidious: The Further You Fear. The PSM is responsible for the daily operation of the show and helping to maintain the creative intent of the production.

Insidious: The Further You Fear brings to life one of the most successful film horror franchises of all time. It is presented as a live paranormal seminar, hosted by the new members of the infamous Spectral Sightings team from the Insidious films. The audience will be amused as they witness the team's humorous paranormal demonstrations and use of bizarre paranormal equipment to “find” and “cleanse” entities lurking in the auditorium, creating a false sense of security in the attendees. However, as the clearly staged paranormal events lead to unexplainable and horrific occurrences, the line between prank and true demonic possession blurs…

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee rehearsal process.

Call the show.

Maintain and upkeep show paperwork and documents.

Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure department notes are being addressed, i.e., prop repair, costume fix, etc.

Other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years of experience in a theatrical management role.

Must hold or be able to get a current passport and have no international travel restrictions.

Familiarity and working knowledge of standard touring practices.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and demonstrated sound judgment when issues must be escalated.

Prior touring experience is a plus, but not required.

DETAILS

Rate starts at $1500 per week plus per diem (per diem is $47/day).

Rehearsals in NYC 11/18/24 - 12/20/24 (break for the December holiday). All company members are considered local NYC hires for rehearsals, housing is not available.

Tech and tour 1/6/25 - 6/1/25.
