In sharing the same mission and values, our workforce remains engaged and passionate about what we manufacture and services we provide.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:Under the direction of the Technical Parts Supervisor and in concert with corporate and department goals, the Technical Parts Advisor is a customer focused individual that has strong attention to detail, and problem-solving ability to best serve our North American dealer network and global subsidiaries. This position works with the dealer by efficiently and professionally assisting in parts research and manual interpretation. In addition providing alternative solutions that can quickly solve any escalating issues resulting in extended machine down situations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Resolve technical parts inquiries via phone, email, and internal portal, with a sense of urgency
  • Develop cross reference sheets, parts bulletins, training material, and similar literature that provide value and improved communication to the dealer and end customer.
  • Provide alternative expedited solutions through consistent and professional communication
  • Working closely with purchasing team to overcome challenges related to parts availability
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all company products, parts related promotions, policies and procedures
  • Point of contact for customers with issues that require an advanced level of expertise in areas including, but not limited to: manual interpretation, historical models and accessories, company processes and procedures
  • Assist Supply Chain with initial stock planning and requirements of new parts products and services.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Self-motivated; have a proactive approach to their work and the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Take on projects or other assignments as needed and adhere to company policies & procedures
EXPERIENCE:

  • Customer centric with skills, knowledge and experience in serving the needs of customers.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations and problem resolution independently.
  • Strong verbal and written professional communication.
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills, which promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.
EXPERTISE:
  • Competent in Google Suite & MS Office suite, specifically Excel.
  • Technical/mechanical aptitude including ability to understand engineering drawings.
EDUCATION:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
  • Internal customers the position will interact with global subsidiaries
  • External customers the position will interact with dealers, Fleet and key accounts
LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
  • This position is located in West Bend, WI
  • Travel up to 5% may be required
