In addition to directly managing projects, this individual will assist in broader project portfolio management activities. This will include implementing new tools and capabilities for project portfolio status reporting, project dashboards, project registration, and requirements definition.Preferred Qualifications:Execute day-to-day project management activities on key initiatives.Work with Product and Business Owners to prioritize project deliverables.Actively lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Work with team manager to establish agile methodologies adopted by the development teams.Manage project dimensions of resources, timelines, scope, and quality.Manage and maintain the Scrum board in Jira based on feedback from the development team.Clear obstacles, bird-dog tasks and team member accountability, and escalate issues, as required.Manage meeting cadence with Product and Business Owners as needed.Drive broad stakeholder engagement and communications.Requirements gathering and translation for the development team.Assist with liaising with 3rd party suppliers that are engaged on projects.Consult with other team members regarding project management standards and activities.Candidate Must Have: 5+ years experience as a technical project manager, supporting data integration initiatives, file transmission setups, as well as creation and maintenance of SQL reports.Technical understanding of SQL.Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment managing multiple initiatives concurrently.Must have a thorough understanding of and experience implementing development methodologies, including iterative development, Agile/Scrum, and structured approaches.Must have a strong knowledge of various project, workspace, and collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, SmartSheet, Teams, etc.Experience with one or more integration technologies (i.e. SSIS, Boomi, etc.) is a Plus.Experience with Reporting Tools (SSRS, Tableau).Experience establishing, documenting, and maintaining as-is and to-be process information.Experience in financial services and regulated environments is preferred.Experience with financial accounting and/or trading platforms (i.e. Charles River Investment Management Solutions, Advent APX Portfolio Management and Accounting, etc.) is a plus.Experience with cloud environment development and/or deployment (i.e. Microsoft Azure, SaaS, etc.) is preferred.Gain a good understanding of the organization's business goals and objectives.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to create and deliver technical presentations to technical and non-technical staff, and communicating with executive and operational management.Certifications: One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP)Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.Personal Attributes: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service orientation.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a very fluid and fast-paced environment.Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedures.Ability to present ideas and solutions in a customer-friendly way.Highly self-motivated and directed.Keen attention to detail.Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Receptive to feedback, with a personal-growth orientation.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
