UW Information Technology (UW-IT) is the central information technology organization for the University of Washington, responsible for strategic planning, oversight, and direction of the UW's IT infrastructure, resources, and services. UW-IT provides critical technology support to all three campuses, UW Medicine, and research operations around the world, partnering with the UW community to enable innovation, learning, discovery, and service.
UW-IT has an outstanding full-time opportunity for a Technical Product Manager on our Research Computing (RC) team. The Research Computing division within UW-IT designs and provides cyberinfrastructure services to the university research community. The position requires an experienced individual who is responsible for overseeing the design, operations, and continuous improvement of key services at Research Computing. This role will serve as product manager for petascale-level services, such as a HPC and AI supercomputer, object storage, and data archive systems in support of research. The TPM is responsible for maintaining a product vision and roadmap aligned with university and UW-IT strategic priorities, and leading implementation efforts to enhance and improve the services.
