Job Summary: The Product Manager (PM) will lead the success of an Audio-Visual (AV) product category by developing and executing strategies to achieve market positioning, revenue, market share, and profitability goals. The role involves overseeing the full product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, and managing product strategies, pricing, and demand forecasting. The PM will also serve as the key spokesperson for the product category, supporting sales, customers, and press relations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Planning (50%): - Conduct market analysis and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities. - Develop business strategy and product positioning within the AV category. - Oversee product lifecycle management, ensuring products meet market needs and financial goals. - Recommend pricing, promotional strategies, and demand generation plans. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay competitive. 2. Customer, Sales Support & Press Relations (30%): - Serve as the Product Champion and primary point of contact for the AV category. - Present corporate strategies and product updates to internal teams, customers, and the press. - Provide feedback and follow-up on product development, pricing, and programs. - Travel with the Sales and PR teams for customer visits, sales training, trade shows, and press tours. 3. Coordination, Communication & Training (20%): - Work with MarCom and Channel Marketing to develop marketing materials and product launch strategies. - Facilitate communication between Sales, Customer Service, and Product Development teams. - Conduct training sessions for new hires, sales teams, customers, and press. Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred). - 3-5 years of experience in AV product management or marketing. - Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Microsoft Intune. - Strong analytical, strategic planning, and marketing skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with global teams. - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
