Candidate who worked as TPO/SM for engagements which involves

Building applications in Java microservices, APIs

Used Cloud services extensively, preferably in AWS

TPO should have a good understanding of Microservices, Data models, REST/SOAP APIs, Swagger, Postman, Kubernetes

Experience in Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, GitHub tools

We are looking for Scrum Master who managed Java application related Projects. (Product Owner exp is optional)

Scrum Master: 10+ Years

Java : 8+ Years

Jira: 8+ Years

Cloud: 5+ Years

Software Development: 3+ Years

UST is Seeking a versatile and experienced Scrum Master and Technical Product Owner (TPO). This role combines responsibilities of facilitating Agile processes with Scrum and acting as a technical product owner for Java-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, at least high level knowledge in Java, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies. This role is critical in ensuring efficient project delivery while aligning technical and business objectives.

As Scrum Master:

Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Ensure that Agile principles and practices are followed.

Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress. Work to remove any blockers and ensure smooth workflow.

Help the team maintain focus on sprint goals. Track sprint progress, manage sprint backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of sprint deliverables.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, promoting best practices, and facilitating process enhancements.

As Technical Product Owner (TPO):

Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and business analysts, to gather and refine requirements for Java-based projects. Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business goals.

Develop, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. Create and manage user stories, ensuring they are actionable and meet acceptance criteria.

Provide technical input and guidance on Java-related development with the help of Java Development Lead. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.

Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap. Ensure that the development team understands the product goals and objectives.

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Provide regular updates on product progress, gather feedback, and adjust priorities as needed.

Review and validate completed work against acceptance criteria. Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and address any issues or defects.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Product Owner role. Proven experience in Agile environments, with Jira.

Experience in technical product ownership and requirement management.

Extensive experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies. Ability to coach teams on Agile principles and facilitate Agile ceremonies effectively.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deploying Java applications in a cloud environment.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code.

Key Skills:

TPO should have a good understanding of Microservices, Data models, REST/SOAP APIs, Swagger, Postman, Kubernetes
