Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
- Provide leadership to all operational teams specific to your Vertical or Customer or Program.
- Develop and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Manage technical training and certifications for assigned lines of business.
- Supervise and mentor low voltage Project Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote and enforce safe practices and installation methods.
- Ensure that all installations meet LINX quality standards.
Financial Accountability:
- Provide financial accountability for all assigned project managers.
- Monitor job costs through Work in Progress reporting.
- Responsible for their teams' Monthly Shifters, Backlog, Billings, and Underbillings.
Process Improvement:
- Maintain processes and make improvements or changes as required.
- Interface with other departments to improve practices, tools, and processes.
- Oversee the quality of estimates by attending set-price meetings.
- Improve efficiencies for delivery teams.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Interface with the Sales Department to promote assigned lines of business.
- Develop relationships and pricing structures with distributors and manufacturers.
- Manage key client relationships.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and any changes.
Strategic Oversight:
- Align the work of project managers with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Reports to one of the following: Director of Operations, Sr. Director of Operations, Vice President, or equivalent.
- Providing insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Influence the direction of multiple projects and programs within the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years in a management and leadership role.
- College Degree or the ability to prove 10+ years of solid project management experience.
- Experience in managing all financial aspects of project budgets
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, distributors, and manufacturers.
- Commitment to ensuring quality and safe installation practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years experience in construction management strongly preferred
- 5+ years experience in low-voltage / structured cabling project management strongly preferred
- 3+ years experience in mission critical data centers for large hyperscale projects strongly preferred
Pay Rate:
$100,000 - $150,000 / year

The LINX Structured Cabling Program Manager is responsible for directing and managing low voltage Project Managers and their direct delivery teams across specific project verticals, customers, or programs such as Healthcare, Data Centers, Government, Education, etc. This role involves providing leadership, ensuring financial accountability, monitoring job costs, maintaining staffing levels, and managing technical training.
The Program Manager will interface with sales, develop relationships with distributors and manufacturers, and improve delivery team efficiencies while ensuring quality standards are met. This position typically holds a higher-level strategic focus and influences the direction of multiple projects and programs within the organization.
