Insight Global is seeking two Technical Project Associates to join one of their top management consulting clients based in New York, NY. This client supports large scale financial services companies on a variety of data centric initiatives, ranging from technical to functional in nature. This person will join the internal team that supports a variety of clients at once with various projects and deliverables. Projects scopes may vary, but to be successful across the board this person should have a fundamental background supporting data centric projects and be able to leverage data to help make business decisions. These individuals will be expected to present their strategic assessment and findings to leadership, so prior experience interpreting data, creating presentations and client decks with PowerPoint is ideal. This team mostly leverages Excel, SQL and Python daily to support analytics and project requirements, R would be an added plus. We are ideally seeking someone who has worked in consulting prior or comes from financial services, and has a very eager, proactive, analytical mindset to be able to jump into multiple projects at once. -Masters Degree -Experience with Visualization tools -1-6 years' experience within financial services (asset management, investment management), OR within consulting (Big 4, Accenture) -Prior experience supporting data centric projects -- data governance, data quality, data lakes etc. -Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups, macros, ability to cleanse data and create presentations from large data sets) -Prior experience putting together and presenting client decks and reports -- must be strong with PowerPoint -Experience with SQL -Exposure to Python -Strong communication skills- ability to be client facing, deliver findings, explain concepts etc
