Job details: Role: Technical Project Manager(M365/Entra ID) Location: Columbus, OH - Hybrid (2 days on site / 3 days remote) Long term contract Summary: Client's Microsoft 365 team is looking for an experienced technical project manager to help complete the Active Directory Modernization program under the direction of the assigned EPMO Project Managers. Primary focus will be to migrate from Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) to Entra ID. Secondary focus will be to migrate identity provisioning to Entra ID and switching LDAP read activities to Entra ID. This includes project task delivery, timelines, and quality goals. The manager will also identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project, financial, and operational risks. The Technical Project Manager will execute the project delivery process so that the distributed resources can work as an effective, objective-driven, and collaborative team. Scope of Opportunity Assist in defining technical specifications and requirements for migrating identity provisioning from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID. Assist in defining technical specifications and requirements for migrating LDAPS and read-only domain controllers from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID. Develop and maintain consistent and compliant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Microsoft 365 team and customer IT staff. Continuously improve productivity by analyzing deficiencies and recommending and implementing changes in tools, training, processes, and employee/customer engagement. Uses an IT ticket system for receiving and tracking trouble tickets and requests, assigns them to a technical specialist (who could be themselves or someone else) for action, and ensures that their tickets are resolved and closed out with the customer and in the system. Manage and report on key performance indicators to management. Contributes knowledge and updated information to maintain the Standard Operating Procedures and Training manuals for support. Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company and personnel information to maintain a professional work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Identity for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and MIM Experience in an enterprise 24x7x365 SLA production environment supporting large M365/Entra government or commercial tenant. Great organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to demonstrate familiarity with M365 products and systems Experience with Microsoft Identity Provisioning (Entra Connect, Entra Cloud Sync, Entra Provisioning Service) is a plus Experience with Microsoft Entra Domain Services is a plus Experience with Windows is a plus
