Technical Project Manager, Closures Structures - As a Technical Project Manager for the Closures Structures team, you will lead the engineering development and launch of vehicle closure systems such as side doors, hood, decklid, and charge port mechanisms. This role involves overseeing the packaging, design, and delivery of these systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of cost, weight, and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the closures engineering team, driving the development of industry-leading closure systems. Manage the entire lifecycle of closure systems, from concept to production launch. Work cross-functionally with teams from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and new product introduction to ensure smooth project execution. Represent the closures team in program meetings and build events. Chair project meetings to communicate plans, monitor progress, and follow up on assigned tasks. Track and manage program and product changes to ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure technical excellence in closures systems. Maintain detailed project management tools, including Gantt charts, to track project timelines and deliverables. Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in automotive or similar industries. Strong experience in driving multiple projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Demonstrated proficiency in using project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, and familiarity with Jira is beneficial. Ability to solve complex problems, prioritize tasks, and execute under stress. Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent project management experience. Ability to travel up to 25% to Lucid manufacturing or other locations. This role is ideal for someone with a can-do attitude, capable of leading diverse teams and projects while navigating the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment. The successful candidate will exhibit superior relationship-building and communication skills and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering quality closure systems on time.
