Job Description The Technical Project Manager will lead projects within the David Yurman Technology Portfolio as part of the PMO. Activities include project plan development, project tracking, analysis, and reporting and ensuring overall project alignment and team accountability. This position will engage with cross-functional teams and will be focused on providing white glove support and insights to various levels of management, including C-level leaders. This role will be expected to contribute to the overall PMO process and procedures to ensure best practices and governance models are in place to drive departmental success. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct, manage, and oversee work completed by both internal project teams and external vendors
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change management
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plan to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion; manage baselines and change requests
  • Prepares and submits project weekly status reports to management and executive stakeholders
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings to include logistics, agendas, meeting notes, and action items
  • Identify and manage RAID analysis framework from project initiation through closure
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and communicate risks to key stakeholders, including executive sponsors
  • Act as the primary point of contact for projects and ensure collaborate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure alignment/communication
  • Build and optimize PMO best practices for standardization and process improvement with a focus on simplification/streamlining, automation and productivity
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and transparency.
  • Establish and implement standardized project management (PM) methodologies, frameworks, processes, best practices, and tools to facilitate a consistent quality of delivery.
  • Maintain Monday.com application for all project related activities (project plan, RAID log, governance process, etc.)
  • Develop an understanding of the financial and accounting process for technology portfolio - Capex, Opex to assist PMO function in portfolio forecasting
  • Operate with outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project governance deadlines.
  • Understand Capex/Opex financial rules requisition process and ensure its alignment with all projects financials.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 4+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong ability to pivot when necessary due to shifting project demands and changing needs of the business.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload
  • Ability to operate simultaneously across multiple projects, programs, business areas, and portfolios
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis to develop brief data summaries that will support decision-making
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • Knowledge of JIRA (for development as well as Workforce management), preferred
  • Experience with Portfolio Management and Project Management software
  • Knowledge of software development and infrastructure terms.
  • Knowledge of Retail and/or Wholesale industry, preferred
  • Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
