bout the Role We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager with a robust background in networking technologies, including VPNs, DMZs, and security protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale national rollouts of VPN systems, specifically within retail environments across the United States. A background in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring the successful deployment of complex networking solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage large-scale VPN system rollouts across retail stores nationwide, ensuring timely and successful implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and operations, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify and mitigate project risks, providing innovative solutions to overcome challenges. Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and any issues that may arise. Ensure all networking implementations adhere to security standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Manage post-deployment support and performance analysis to ensure operational success. Qualifications Required : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7 years of experience in technical project management with a focus on networking technologies. Proven track record managing national rollouts of VPN systems in retail environments. Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including VPN, DMZ, firewalls, and security protocols. Experience in the telecommunications industry or similar environments. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
