Position: Technical Project Manager with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to lead and oversee software development projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing technical teams, aligning business goals with project deliverables, and ensuring timely and successful project execution.
Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects throughout the SDLC phases:requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including development teams, business analysts, QA, and senior leadership, to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk assessments, and milestones.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Oversee daily operations of technical teams, addressing roadblocks, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Implement best practices in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) as applicable.
• Drive communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reporting risks, progress, and outcomes.
• Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards through effective testing, validation, and feedback loops.
• Manage change requests, prioritize project features, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment by mentoring team members and promoting a culture of accountability.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role managing projects through the SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively withtechnical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, technologies, and frameworks.
• Certification such as PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 is a plus.
Preferred Skills
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD processes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on project metrics and performance reporting.
