We are currently recruiting for a Technical Records Specialist 2 (TRS2) statewide. This position is a full-time, benefited position and will work 40 hours per week which will include working weekend hours. Our Technical Records Specialist 2 will often serve as the first contact for Behavioral Health clients and will provide ongoing support to a team of clinical staff, to include file management and system administration duties for various systems and programs such as WITS (electronic health record system), SharePoint, Idaho Health Data Exchange, iCourt/E-File, etc. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service, works well in a team-based atmosphere, picks up new computer programs/systems quickly, is a self-motivated problem-solver, and is highly organized.Teleworking arrangement may include hybrid office & telework options to be determined on an as-needed basis to meet agency needs.Generous vacation and sick leave accrual beginning as soon as you start.11 paid holidays a year.Paid parental leave.Multiple savings plans, optional 401K, and optional 457.Basic life insurance for employee and family (employee covered at one times annual salary; spouse covered at $10,000; child covered at $5,000).Prepare and electronically file court documents.Process medical records requests.Frequent communication of department programs and objectives with community providers, partners, and hospitals.Arrange client hospital transportation.Receive and route phone calls.Scan and file documents.Frequent contact with internal and external customers which requires good public relation skills.Function with considerable independence and exercise discretion in applying policies and procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Typically gained by one year of related experience.Dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations. Typically gained by one year of related experience.Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system. Typically gained by six months of related experience.Composing and proofreading business correspondence. Typically gained by one year of related experience.Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.Experience working with sensitive or restricted data.
