The Talent Acquisition Specialist will participate in developing, managing and executing a full cycle enterprise talent and recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals and ensure that ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met, exceeded and measured. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will participate in the development of company policy for talent bench-marking, talent assessment and interviewing policies, procedures and process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Collaborate with Director, Talent Acquisition in large scale recruiting initiatives across the organization
Engage and develop relationships with hiring managers to develop talent attraction strategies that support organizational vision and goals for growth
Effectively leverage job boards and social media to position the firm's brand and attract candidates
Sell the firm's brand, culture, and professional opportunities
Engage in all elements of recruiting process including external and internal job postings, identification and interviewing of the most qualified applicants, guidance on the selection of the best candidates, reference and background checks, job offers and negotiations, and talent acquisition budget
Manage candidate generation sources including employment agencies, college relationships, career fairs, community networking, industry contacts, and direct sourcing on social media and networking sites
Build out recruiting metrics and partner with hiring managers on measuring the effectiveness of current and previous recruitment strategies and work to create and implement solutions for challenges
Work directly with candidates on scheduling interviews and organizing travel arrangements; assist with recruiting event planning; other administrative duties as assigned

THE PERSON
You are a motivated Talent Acquisition team member that is deadline driven with a drive for results, while enjoying working on roles with a specialized skill set, and constantly challenging yourself to find new ways of identifying and attracting candidates. When reaching out to candidates, you know the right type of messaging a candidate wants to hear and can tailor your message to attract them. After speaking with candidates, you have an intuition about them and have a keen sense of if they are right for the role. You maintain relationships with your network and leverage it for market intelligence and referrals. Competitive by nature, you have a track record of success in a metrics driven environment. Additionally, there is a level of curiosity within you that leads to different recruiting strategies and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree desired, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
TA Specialist I: 1-3 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated success (ideally in the Defense Consulting industry)
TA Specialist II: 3-5 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated success (ideally in the Defense Consulting industry)
TA Specialist III: 5-7 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated success (ideally in the Defense Consulting industry)
Department of Defense (DoD) and Government sourcing experience preferred.
Experience in setting the direction of the recruitment function (including executive, college, and temporary labor) in a mid-size company
Demonstrated ability to assess candidate skills, knowledge, and demonstration of core values
Demonstrated ability to learn and connect with the business on all levels.
Demonstrated success with social media recruiting channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+)
Polished interpersonal skills and strong professionalism
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must have strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and applicant tracking systems and social media
