*Though this role can be done remotely, we are interested in candidates who can visit our Rhode Island office occasionally for collaboration and on-site days.

**Salary range includes base + commission.

For more than two decades, our technology and advisory services firm has helped companies pinpoint and solve the most critical use cases around actionable data, accelerated software engineering, and tech-powered innovation. As a Technical Recruiter, and member of our larger recruiting team, you will play a critical role in supporting our client engagements by identifying top 1% Consultants that can deliver our on-demand consulting and custom project services.

At the highest level you will:

  • Identify qualified technical candidates who would be a superior fit for our on-demand staffing and custom project work
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the Consultant community, specifically focusing on professionals that span software engineering and development, DevOps, automation, data, AI, and ML hyper-specialties
  • Respond expediently and effectively to opportunities generated by our Sales team, handling multiple client/discipline portfolio of projects that evolve and change daily.
  • Leverage an omni-channel approach — job boards, social media, email, phone, networking, etc. — to grow your relationships with the tech community

What You'll Do:

As an integral member of our service delivery team, you will:

  • Source and recruit excellent technical talent by creating and executing on innovative and modern sourcing strategies and campaigns
  • Be up to date on the latest technology trends and impact on the marketplace
  • Work in collaboration with our Solutions Team on identifying Consultants, contractors, and gig workers we want to engage in client work
  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Stackoverflow, Dice, and Github)
  • Work with our Sales and Solutions teams to support immediate client opportunities for our productized services, custom project, and on-demand model
  • Develop a pipeline of technical talent (both active and passive) and be constantly engaging in a meaningful way
  • Nurture relationships with existing Consultants to build unbreakable relationships
  • Uncover business intelligence/sales intel via Consultant relationships on additional client opportunities
  • Stay current on job market/consultant/gig economy trends to best position SQA Group to attract top talent
  • Participate in and lead client-facing activities with our Sales team
  • Promote our employer brand on and offline with regular brand ambassador content flow and interaction

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical talent acquisition/recruiting, with a proven ability to discover, attract, and retain outstanding talent
  • Experience with full-cycle technical recruiting, sourcing, qualifying, submittals, onboarding, and relationship management and nurturing
  • Ability to rapidly engage a virtual bench to fulfill statements of work and scale up and down as the business needs
  • Previous experience and/or the aptitude in sourcing/recruiting initiatives that concentrate on tech consultants, gig works or consulting/professional services
  • A passion for sourcing in the technology sector with a focus on multiple clients and projects at a given time
  • Ever curious and committed to cultivating new skill sets
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing technical talent across multiple channels including social media and other digital networking resources
