As we continue to grow, we are looking for more talented and like-minded individuals to join our team - people who are excited about transforming the travel space and helping us scale our vision globally.About The RoleThe Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in scaling our team by identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent. As the sole technical recruiter, you will own the full recruitment life cycle for a variety of technical positions across engineering, product, and design, collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. This is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of the technical landscape, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role will report to the Head of People OperationsKey ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition Strategy
  • Craft and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality technical candidates that align with Fora's mission and culture.
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs and define role requirements for technical positions.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
  • Utilize various channels-including agencies, LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals-to build a strong pipeline of technical talent.
  • Represent Fora at industry events, career fairs, and online forums to promote our employer brand, collaborating with the marketing team to develop recruitment materials that highlight Fora's culture and technical opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and engage with passive candidates to fill current and future technical roles.
  • Manage relationships with agency recruiters to ensure an excellent candidate experience, and over time bring all recruiting in-house.
Full-Cycle Recruitment Management
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, providing insights on market trends and candidate availability.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create and action on appropriate interview plans.
  • Conduct initial resume & phone screenings, coordinate technical assessments.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews with hiring teams.
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates, through reasonable interview processes and clear and timely communication.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Metrics & Performance Tracking:
  • Achieve key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, candidate satisfaction score.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on recruitment progress and market trends.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally combining both agency and in-house roles with at least 2 years experience in-house. Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements, including web engineering, backend engineering, data science, product management, and IT infrastructure.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Expertise in delivering compelling narratives to attract top technical talent.
  • Judgment and Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments about candidates in a rapidly evolving industry. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform recruitment strategies and decisions. Meticulous in managing recruitment processes and candidate information. Excellent ability to manage multiple open positions and projects simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
CompensationCompensation range for this role is $115k - 125k + equity. Other benefits include:
