Job Description:
The Technical Sales Manager is a remote position that will manage and grow customer accounts assigned, including creating new parts with the customer and replacing competitors on current parts.Client DetailsOur client is a $35M rubber manfuacturing company looking to double that within the next year. Positioned in a place of competitive growth making it a unique and exciting time to join the organization and sales team in particular. The company manufactures & distributes custom compression and injected molded rubber products such as wheels, roller, seals, hoses, and more.Description
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide technical guidance on industrial rubber products, including specifications, applications, and performance features.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction and addressing technical or commercial concerns promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in industrial rubber applications.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, production, and customer support, to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Partner with marketing to develop materials and campaigns to support sales initiatives.Profile
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the industrial rubber or related industry.
    • Strong understanding of industrial rubber materials, applications, and markets.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness to travel domestically (50% or more).Job Offer
      • $110k - $130k base (potentially up to $140k for standout candidate)
      • 10% target bonus (do not offer commission as it is a customer-centric company)
