D&W is looking for a Technical Sales and Support Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters in Auburn New York. Technical Sales and Support Specialists are responsible for customer service functions related to Truck & Tank Equipment and Hydraulic Products. Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, process orders and solve customer issues
- Provide technical support to our customers, outside sales force and our branches
- Keep order information updated and communicated to customers
- Provide product application support to customers
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service mentality
- Ability to troubleshoot issues over the phone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Energetic with a good sense of urgency
- Prior experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or other bulk transfer equipment is a plus but not required
- Previous computer experience should include word processing, spreadsheets and database use
- Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and prioritize effectively
