We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Security Engineer Lead in hybrid environment in one of the following sites: Lanham, Maryland •Memphis, Tennessee •Austin, Texas •Dallas, Texas •Ogden, Utah. Job Summary: The Technical Security Engineering Lead will play a pivotal role in program and project integration for the Integrated Modernization Framework (IMF). This position involves supporting various program and project activities through technical analyses and reviews, process improvement, and adherence to security standards. The lead will be responsible for understanding the impacts of the integrated IMF Modernization system and its components while gathering and compiling data into presentations and artifacts. The individual will provide program integration support, interface with Delivery Partners, and coordinate the deployment of newly developed capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Integration: Provide support for program integration activities, ensuring alignment with technical and security requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct comprehensive technical analyses and reviews to support various program and project activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance adherence to security policies and procedures.
  • Data Management: Gather, compile, and present data related to the IMF Modernization system and its components.
  • Delivery Partner Coordination: Interface with and support Delivery Partners to ensure successful integration and deployment of new capabilities.
  • Final Review and Approval: Act as the final reviewer and approver for team deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet secure environment configuration standards.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the SME for secure environment configurations, providing expertise and guidance on compliance with security regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Risk Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • IAM/IAT Level III or similar certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, or related fields.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in securing computing environments and operating systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of security policies, procedures, and processes, including familiarity with industry best practices and commonly used frameworks & standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001-2).
  • Five (5) years of experience managing security projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
  • Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
