Job Title: Technical Support Technician (Charleston, SC)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Support Technician to join our dynamic team at an engineering and design firm. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to employees, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in troubleshooting Microsoft and Adobe tools, providing user support, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of various IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, offering timely resolution.
  • Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Offer training and guidance to staff on the use of software tools and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades and patches.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk system.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles.
  • Familiarity with networking, hardware troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow and advance within the company.

$50 - 60k salary plus excellent benefits
