We specialize in designing and renting precision climate control systems based on temperature and humidity requirements.Job Description:Under the direction of the Operations Manager - ExactAire and in close cooperation with the Sales Team and Project Managers in the assigned area(s). The IoT Operations Technician I is responsible for giving assistance and support to the business at a national level. The IoT Operations Technician I will focus on functional validation of IoT Equipment for stock and rental orders; test, troubleshoot, and repair returned IoT Equipment; and follow documentation and shipping processes for rental orders. The IoT Operations Technician will support the services Polygon US provides to its customers while demonstrating Polygon's values of Integrity, Excellence and Empathy. Services that are provided by Polygon include but are not limited to Temporary Climate Solutions and Emergency Drying Services.Essential Job Functions:Test functionality of ExactAire IoT Remote Monitoring devices in preparation for shipping to project sites.Follow ExactAire Standardized Warehouse Management System (WMS), Documentation, Packing, and Shipping Procedures.Set up and maintenance of Exactaire.com projects including start of project, virtual dashboards, site users, and deletion of project upon completion and return of all equipment.Assist Field Service Technicians remotely for ExactAire IoT Equipment Installation and Troubleshooting service calls.Level 1 Point of contact for ExactAire Service Tickets, and appropriately escalate to next level when appropriate.While not working on assigned projects, utilize down time to maintain, and prepare equipment for upcoming projects and maintenance of the ExactAire equipment store roomCompletion of Polygon Provided Training Requirements within the first 6 months of employment including:GHS Understanding safety data sheetsHazard communication for general industryElectrical safety courses as follows:Electrical Safe Work PracticesControl of Hazardous Energy (Lockout Tag out)Arc FlashJob Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum two years of technical school or two years on the job experience in a related field preferred.Working knowledge of low & line voltage electrical circuits.Working knowledge of mechanical devices preferred in the HVAC industry.Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 appsAbility to perform duties that are physical in nature.Willingness to work overtime as and when needed and to travel on short notice.
