As the team expands operations and reach, they will add a Technical Support Specialist to join a dynamic team. - Assist customer service staff in resolving customer issues online, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with technical staff in factories to manage the sorting, testing, and basic repairs of returned electronic products such as EV Chargers and E-Bikes within the USA.
- Respond to technical emails promptly, providing accurate troubleshooting steps and solutions to customers.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and basic repairs of electronic products, including disassembly and reassembly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical solutions provided, and repair activities.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to electronic products and troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements:
- No college degree or electrical engineering license required; however, relevant certifications or technical training are advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of electrics and demonstrated hands-on ability in disassembling and repairing electronic products.
- Previous experience in appliance repair or a similar field is preferred.
- Basic communication skills in English or Chinese; bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality technical support.
Salary: $20-$25 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Location: the Technical Support Specialist will be based onsite in an office close to the South Pasadena area.
