Technical Support SpecialistAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maximizing user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Provide timely and effective technical support to users via various channels, including in-person, phone, chat, and email.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware and software.
- Conduct thorough research to identify optimal solutions and best practices.
- Advise users on appropriate procedures and best practices to prevent future issues.
- Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve POS hardware problems, including requesting replacements and overseeing installation at store locations.
- Perform structured cabling tasks as needed.
Qualifications:- 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or education may be considered towards experience requirements.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues..
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience with networking is a plus.
- General familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
