Overview: The Project is looking for experienced Technical Writers who will be responsible for developing procedures (commissioning and startup), O&M Manuals, Training Manuals and Training Modules for the Port Artur LNG Project. The Technical Writer reports to the Project Start-up Manager and will be in the Houston, Texas home office for developing CSU and CSU Training documentation.

salary: $65 - $85 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Writer: •Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension. •Writes and edits other writer's technical documents/manuals according to customer specifications. •Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed. •Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation. •Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team. •Research existing data to maximize use of previously developed text and/or illustrations. •Completes assigned tasks according to established deadlines, project specifications, and company policies and procedures.
