Roles and responsibilities:
This position is part of the Knowledge Center Content Development team, focused on delivering global performance improvement strategies through learning and documentation. The role involves developing technical content to support Enterprise products, including user manuals, quick start guides, installation guides, and training materials. The position aims to establish best-in-class knowledge transfer and enhance overall customer satisfaction for users of the products.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and writing technical content, such as descriptions, installation procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance and troubleshooting information.
Conducting interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather relevant data for content creation.
Managing multiple documentation and training material development projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Coordinating and controlling the development of documentation and training materials to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications include:
Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate highly technical information into clear, understandable text and illustrations.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with engineering, marketing teams, SMEs, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in electronic publishing tools like FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, RoboHelp, Photoshop, content management systems, and DITA.
4-7 years of experience in technical writing or related fields.
