Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation using industry, translation, and corporate-specific standards to ensure content is appropriate for targeted user groups
- Research clinical and technical subject matter, organize information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience
- Install and use Data Innovations' applications to develop product expertise while deep diving into complicated workflows and goals, ensuring content is accessible and appropriate for targeted user groups
- Collaborate daily and flexibly with remote, global, cross-functional teams while also working independently to meet deadlines in an agile lifecycle
- Design, structure, write, edit, and maintain complex technical content in multiple, accessible formats using industry and corporate-specific standards
- Create and iterate on graphical, video, and other multimedia solutions that enhance the user experience
- Work closely with international subject matter experts and the regulatory team to produce technically accurate content within regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with the Technical Communications team members to maintain the processes that provide for the preparation, review, revision, translation, publishing, and maintenance of technical documents
- Fully engage with the Technical Communications team's posting rotation to publish documentation and software to the Data Innovations website
- Work with other teams to prioritize, implement, and publish content and website updates to address customer and employee requests
- Manage the full content translation process and generate content into multiple languages
RequirementsKnowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3+ years of experience in the technical writing and editing field with experience producing a variety of content formats, including HTML and PDF.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills, including grammatical and copyediting
- Experience in planning and executing projects in an agile software development
- Ability to focus on process adherence and proactively initiate
- Experience designing, creating, and editing accessible visual communication deliverables, such as graphics and videos.
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage projects independently and
- Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, shifting quickly to achieve on-time team goals and representing work in cross-functional meetings.
- Learning agility and willingness to independently learn new processes and
- Experience giving and receiving individual and team feedback, including
- Thorough grasp of technical writing and design
- Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts.

Preferred Skills and ExperienceIn addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with:
- The medical device, laboratory, or other regulated industry
- Madcap Flare or other help authoring tool
- Software for video creation and editing
- Git source control software
- Polarion or other Application Lifecycle Management Software
- HTML, XML, and/or CSS programming
- Translation processes
- Structured writing and content reuse
Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree and at least three years of experience in documentation, technical writing, marketing communications, or quality/regulatory affairs, or at least six years' experience working in a related field from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use.Supervision LevelThis person reports directly to the Technical Communications Manager.
