Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Technician - ICATT Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will gain knowledge to maintain and repair the machinery within the department in order to reduce downtime and ensure the smooth flow of materials through the department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
* College Classes:
* Attends full-time college in established cycles to gain knowledge in technical manufacturing machine maintenance.
* Be professional and maintain a B average while enrolled.
* Attend all classes and complete all homework and project assignments by required completion date.
* Regularly communicate with NAL mentors on classroom progress and any additional help you may need.
* Tool Room Apprenticeship:
* Works under close supervisor of mentors and supervisors during established OJT cycles.
* Assists NAL technicians in completing the daily activities performed to ensure production machinery is capable of producing goods.
* Keeps track of machine status board and completes required paperwork and maintenance logs.
Requirements
Your Background
High School Diploma or GED, 0 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and acceptance to approved college.
