Hendrick Collision Center HickoryLocation: 1171A Lenoir Rhyne Blvd SE, Hickory, North Carolina 28602Summary: Responsible for identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Examines body damage on customer vehiclesIdentifies necessary body repair workEstimates cost of body workRequests necessary partsPerforms body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new partsDocuments repairs performedPerforms body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelinesMaintains CSI at or above Company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping systemFollows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company's Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions.Certificates and Licenses:Ã¢Ë Å¡ Valid Driver's Licenseo Automobile Salesperson LicenseComputer Skills:Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.Communication Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and talk; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must pass OSHA respiratory medical exam.Environment Demands:Duties are performed primarily in the Collision Center. Work includes movement of vehicle body parts, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, paint-dust, and other collision center conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, Estimators, and Collision Center management.Verbal and Writing Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
