Department: Early Childhood DepartmentLincoln Public Schools is looking for a full-time Early Development Network Services Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of Early Childhood within LPS and must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services or related field. Experience desired in working with families of children with disabilities and young children, infants and toddlers; a broad variety of community agencies and culturally diverse families.A Services Coordinator helps families of children with special needs below age three:
- Find services to meet developmental, educational, financial, healthcare, child care, respite care, and other services to meet their needs;
- link with needed services;
- work with multiple providers to make sure services are provided as needed; and
- become coordinators of services for their own children in the future.
Must have knowledge of community resources and advocacy services. Must be able to organize and multitask. Serves as a case manager for children ages birth to 3 who qualify for Medicaid Waiver.
