An exceptional quality and safety record and experienced and responsive staff have helped to establish SES's reputation as a trusted partner in our industry.The Fuels Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fueling systems at various military installations.We offer a great benefits package complete with medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, employer-paid life and disability, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (PTO).This is a 75-100% travel role, requiring the fuels technician to frequently travel to various military installation project sites throughout the western states of the US.Responsibilities•Responsible for supporting minor fuel system repairs, and periodic inspections as required on a quarterly, monthly, semi-annually, or annual basis based on project requirements.•Responsible for hands-on duties related to the project Scope of Work (SOW) and duties assigned by the Project manager.•Coordination and direction from the Project Manager.•Quality and safety of work performed.•Ability to safely operate heavy equipment if required.•Read, understand, and execute without much direction the project plans, and scope of work.•Pick up materials and equipment.•Daily clean-up of the area.Qualifications•5 years of DOD fuel systems maintenance and repair experience.•An active driver's license is required to drive company-rented vehicles.•As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.•Individuals may possess knowledge and experience in supporting fuel system projects and ancillary support functions such as painting, placarding, changing filters, and minor repairs among others.•Fuels Technicians will be required to travel to various military installation project sites throughout the western states of the US.•75-100% percent travel required.•OSHA 30 certification preferred.Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
